I graduated fro m Queens University Belfast in 1976 and later gained the MFGDP (UK) Diploma. I am married to Elaine and have 4 children, my son John is currently in 4th year at Newcastle Dental School.

I undertake most types of dental procedures including cosmetic dentistry and tooth whitening. My special interest is with orthodontics and have carried out the orthodontics in the practice for the last 30 years.

In my spare time I enjoy sailing, walking and skiing.

A past pupil of Methodist College Belfast, I qualified from Queens University, Belfast in 1977 and gained my membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practice at the Royal College, London of Surgeons in 1990. I have a special interest in the treatment of gum disease.

I am married to Heather and have 4 sons and 2 grandsons.

I am a past president and chairman of the Belfast Round Table. I am also a UEFA ‘B’ soccer coach and am president of Carnmoney Colts FC.

I graduated from Queens University Belfast in 1987 and have been with the practice since then. I enjoy all aspects of my work especially cosmetic dentistry. I find it very rewarding to see people’s reactions after their smile has been transformed.

Any free time I have I spend with my family. I am married to Fiona and have 2 children Katie and Conall.

Before my dental career I was an international athlete and competed for Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I am still involved in athletics today and coach a group of athletes based in Belfast.

I have been married for 2 years and enjoy keeping fit and running. In 2008 I completed the Krakow marathon in Poland and hope to take part in more marathons in the future.

Qualified from the Leeds Dental Institute in 2000, subsequently obtained membership of the joint dental faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons, undertook postgraduate training in Forensic Dentistry at Cardiff University in 2006 and spent valuable time working in the Oral Surgery Department of Frenchay Hospital, Bristol.
After travelling extensively to work and learn from some of the leading figures in dentistry today, I am now glad to be home and plan to settle down for the long term, my overall philosophy is to treat my patients as I would want myself or any member of my family to be treated, using modern materials, techniques and equipment to preserve their teeth for life.

I graduated from Glasgow in 2010 and have been working in Monkstown since May 2014.
I love my job, interacting with people and providing them with the smile they have always wanted.

Always striving to enhance my professional development I  completed my MJDF qualification in 2012 and I'm about to undertake an extensive cosmetic and restorative course in London.

Outside of work I enjoy keeping fit and love weekends in the North Coast. In the last 12 months I ran my first half marathon and had an amazing experience doing charity work in Africa. I hope to do more of the same in the not too distant future!

I qualified from Edinburgh University In 1988 and began my career  working for a local health board and in Private practice in Northern  Ireland before a move to Germany.
In Germany I was able to gain invaluable experience working alongside  a Specialist in Gum disease treatment.

After my stint in Germany I work in London for four years undertaking  further training allowing me to travel as far as New York. In 2006 my husband, two children and I returned home. I love to read,  ski and socialize in my spare time but am an active member of the  BSDHT allowing me to attend courses each year keeping me up to date  with new developments within the profession.

I qualified as a dental hygienist from Queens university in 2004.I also completed certificate in oral health in 2003, and a tooth whitening course in 2009.i joined monkstown tean in 2009. My aim it to maintain high level of oral health for each patient,by providing up to date preventative advice, and varuious gum treatments

Hello my name is Emer.

I'm a qualified dental nurse and joined the Monkstown team in February 2015. Iv been very lucky to meet some amazing people right from the beginning of my dental journey.

I love to travel. When im not in work you'll usually find me at the airport! In March 2014 I got the opportunity to join a dental team treating kids in Ethiopia.

It was an eye opening experience and one il never forget. I'd love to continue this kind of work in the future.

I'm from Scotland originally but have lived in Belfast for the past 2 years. I love living here and being with my boyfriend and new friends, I do miss my family but the visits are great.
My origins may explain my love of battered pizza and cups of tea !!
