We take great pride in the quality of our dentistry and wish to make your visit to our practice a pleasant one. Our aim is good dental health for you and your family through Preventative Dentistry. This means giving regular dental advice and helping you understand how to reduce your need for dental treatment.

historyHistory - Your practice in Monkstown has existed since 1966. The current partnership began in 1991 and now includes four partners. The practice equipment has been regularly upgraded over the years to keep pace with advances in dentistry.

- Monkstown Dental Practice aims to keep pace with the rapid advancements in dental technology in order to provide a better service to our patients. More information on our technology can be seen here.


elderly Elderly and Disabled Patients
- Home visits are available for the elderly and housebound. There is ground floor access to the appointment desk, waiting room and two surgeries.


children Children
- We encourage children to attend from an early age. Our aim is to help them form good dental habits which will prevent dental problems in later life.At Monkstown Dental, our young patients are of utmost importance to us.

Treating young children is made much easier for them if they have built a relationship and trusts the dental team; we work hard on that from day one. That€™s why our practice is built on generations of families.

Prevention is always better than cure and we encourage our younger patients to have good knowledge as well as treatment to limit the amount of dentistry they need long term.




emergency Emergencies
- If you are in pain or need urgent attention please telephone the practice and every effort will be made to see you as soon as possible.

appointmentsAppointments - Appointments can be made by telephone or in person. If it is your first visit to the practice you will need to bring your medical card and a full list of your current medication. Recall appointments are normally sent out every six months via our computerised system.

info Cancellations Policy - Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. This enables us to make alternative arrangements. A charge may be made if insufficient notice is given.

infoCollection Service -
We treat patients from all over the UK and Southern Ireland. A collection service is available for patients travelling from Belfast City and Belfast Intl airports and from Belfast Central Train Station (Enterprise stop). Please contact us to gain further information or to arrange a collection.
